Our wines originate in St Petersburg, Florida, and all of our products are grown in state and are bottled by Floridians. So when you treat yourself, or those friends who appreciate the unique, remember that Beyond the Grape found a way to give you "A Taste of Florida!"

Armed with determination and a dream reminiscent of many Florida pioneers, the Shook family started development of their unique wines in 1991. Realizing the importance of striving for exceptional quality, the Florida winery opened its doors in September of 1997 - only after the secrets of making exceptional wine from fruit other than grapes had been discovered. Producing Florida's only ultra-premium citrus, tropical and berry wines, this Florida wine distributor is proud to say that our citrus wines are the only Florida wines allowed to display the Florida Department of Citrus' official mark of superior quality - the Florida Sunshine Tree.

Beyond the Grape is a retailer of fine wine and premium wine products. All of our premium specialty citrus wines are made 100% from pure Florida Citrus Juice. It can take upwards of nine pounds of fruit to give us enough juice for just one bottle of our Mango Mamma, mango wine, Orange Sunshine wine, Grapefruit wine or Tangerine wine. Using a special process of fermentation, aging and bottling we produce truly outstanding wines.

Beyond the Grape is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Sunday hours are from 11:00 PM to 6:00 PM.  Please call for holiday hours.  Stop in for a free wine tasting and taste wine that tastes great!
